Fashion Scene - Streets of Paris

As Paris Fashion Week is at this moment showing Winter 2011, I post some photos that I took in Paris last October, during the Spring 2011 presentations.

Amy Astley, editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue, outside the Ritz Hotel in Place Vendome.

Cool chic awaits the end of a show, on cooler motorcycle. At Place Vendome

An example of French style: always a perfectly cut coat, a good leather pair of shoes, and a great + practical shoulder bag. At the Tuileries

Another example of chic: simple top, usually a beautiful blouse or cashmere sweater, cigarrette jeans, to  the ankle, ballerinas, and a good quality leather bag

Stylish forever: On her, silk blouse, neat trousers, good flat shoes, perfect accessories - necklace, belt - smart haircut, excellent posture.... On him: a ton sur ton ensemble: suit, sweater, tie, poise

Who needs comfy shoes?  Big leather shoulder bag, cigarette pants, nice shoes - no exeptions!

Fashion frenzy outside Colette, on Rue Fauburg St. Honore

I love how young French men manage to look pulled together with a slightly bohemian look... hair long and tousled, scarves... always good shoes and tailoring. At the Tour Eiffel

Love that bag! The perfect shade of brown

Children playing in the park

Picture-perfect sweetness

Joie de vivre: afternoons well spent playing a game of Bocce, near Avenue Foch. The gesture of this man, even that ball throw is performed with such elegance!

Kids on scooters at the incredibly beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg

Cinderella-esque pony rides, j'adore!!

Is everything this beautiful in Paris?

Heroine Joan of Arc, patron saint of France

The End... one last frenchy thing, Moules avec des frites and a cheesy soupe a l'oignon, in an adorable bistro in Montmartre...
Bon appetit ...and bon style!!!
